Casa adobe AT BASECAMP TERLINGUA
With two-foot thick poured adobe walls, Casa Adobe is the Big Bends first monolith adobe structure. Using natural materials quarried on-site and collected from nearby Terlingua Creek, we’ve blended ancient construction ideas with modern technologies and social trends to create a truly unique lodging experience when visiting the area. Casa Adobe is a large, 760 sq ft open space with a full kitchen, dining table, fold-out queen couch, high ceilings, king-size bed tucked behind a privacy wall, full bathroom with an overhead shower, outdoor sitting with fire pit, shaded courtyard with additional table and bonus outdoor shower. With a direct view of the Chisos Mountains and private parking, this ghost town treasure has everything you need – and minutes from bars and restaurants and only 10 min to the entrance to the national park.
